Meet Our Founders

Gabriel Albanes

Spend time with our CEO Gabriel Albanes, and you’ll be inspired to make your technical aspirations come to life. Gabriel is a USMC veteran and former DoD operator who leverages his experience to overcome barriers in business with creative problem-solving and a high level of trust in his team. He leads Valyr and builds our reputation by being honest, dependable, and over-delivering. When he isn’t working, you can find Gabriel surfing, training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and spending time with his family.

Melissa Albanes

A product marketer before launching Valyr with Gabriel, Melissa has held growth roles at various technology companies, from startups to DocuSign and Google. Today, Melissa serves as our COO and a sales advocate for our company. She also leads Valyr’s “give back” efforts to our military veteran community. When she’s not at her desk, you can find her immersed in a novel, trying out new board games, or embarking on outdoor adventures.
